Alone

And so you fell....again and again I tried to catch you. It meant my own destruction.

How many times have we done this?

Not this time.

I will  not catch you again.

This time you are on your own. As am I.

I will continue on. Will you?

The choice is yours.

I have to go on, alone...

It feels like forever.

It has  been.

I accept this. Do you?

It matters naught.

So on I go...with light in hand, forging the path...

If none chose to see the light, what does it truly matter?

And that is the heart of it...it does not matter...
